Consistently qq noodles that are always hot and fresh. I always get the soy milk as well as a sweet treat to accompany my noodles. I ordered the hot oil pulled noodles with egg and tomato and the tomato flavor is very strong and delicious. If you like the traditional egg and tomato Chinese dish you'll love this! The egg could be more plentiful but I appreciate every bit of it I can find. I love noodles and rate this a 5/5 for texture, taste, and consistency. My boyfriend got the qishan noodles which he would rate a 4.5/5 but when I grilled him about it he didn't have any complaints, so take that as you will. The place is always clean and even when it's busy I've never had to wait for a spot because there are so many tables available. I also appreciate the on theme decor! (Terracotta soldier statues greet you at the door and there are traditional Chinese windows and some scrolls with calligraphy on the walls.)

Taste of Xi'an offers a satisfying taste of Chinese cuisine with a range of dishes for everyone. The Hot Oil Pulled Noodle impressed me with its great texture and an amazing chili oil that added a nice kick. The overall flavor was enjoyable, and I would definitely order it again. The Szechuan Dandan Noodles with ground pork was good but fell short on the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The pork was tasty, but the dish lacked a certain punch that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The Hot Pot, non-spicy, came with a generous serving of ingredients and was satisfying, although the broth didn't have as much flavor I anticipated. If I got this in the future I would get the spicy version. The restaurant offers ample seating inside, and the food arrived promptly, reflecting efficient service. Taste of Xi'an provides a solid option for those seeking authentic Chinese flavors in a comfortable dining environment.

Visited on a Sunday around 6:30pm. We didn't have to wait and were seated immediately but around 20mins later people started to wait around the entrance as it got full. The servers will show you where to sit, clean the tables, bring you plates, chopsticks and water but you will order from your phone using the QR code. They have photos for everything so that helps if you are not familiar with the dishes. It was a pretty fast paced restaurant with people coming and going and they have a pretty big dining area. After ordering, the food came out within 10mins. We ordered their hand pulled noodles. The one with the beef brisket was not spicy at all (and you cannot change the spice level) and it really had two pieces of noodles which was plenty for me. They are more like two loops of noodles. The noodles were very well cooked and carried the flavor of the soup nicely. The soup was easy to slurp as it didn't have a strong flavor but wasn't bland either. The meat cubes were a lot of cartilage rather than the meat part. The Hot Oil Pulled Noodles were a bit too salty but the noodles were nicely cooked as well. It did have a bit of an aftertaste that I'm not too sure what (something similar to peanut oil). It does not come with any protein so make sure to add them (+1.50) when you order if you want more than just bok choys and bean sprouts. The servers will bring you your tab at the end of your meal but sometimes you have to flag them down if they don't notice you. But overall, they were swift and worked well as a team.

Amazing restaurant for when you're craving spice! I got the stir fried noodles with beef and the spicy cumin flavor was so good! The staff is very nice and you can kind of see into the kitchen which is cool. The place is very spacious and is a great place to hang out with friends! For larger groups they have circular tables so sharing is easier. Everything I've tried here is seriously amazing, and it's a go to when I'm craving something spicy!

I came here with some friends wanting to try a new place in U district and was surprised by this place! They had an anniversary event with lots of deals going on. I wasn't expecting much but was super surprised by the food. Everything we got was super yummy and flavorful. I really enjoyed the hand pulled chili. oil noodles which were super chewy and packed with flavor. The jianbao was also very good and hearty. I would definitely come back again!

I stopped by taste of xi'an after visiting the udis street fair! We came in around 6pm and were seated right away. We noticed that a lot of menu items were discounted or offered a deal for their anniversary! My favorite dish we ordered was the hot oil hand pulled noodles which was only $9 and included a soy milk drink! The noodles were the perfect chewy texture and satisfied my craving. We noticed that the wonton soup was very peppery but the wontons were delicious! The prices here seem really decent and the food came out fast. The restaurant offers a ton of seating so you're sure to find a seat! Definitely order the hot oil noodles :)

If you've ever been to those Asian night markets, you may have seen the stalls selling those cumin beef or lamb skewers with giant lines and a shit ton of smoke. Well look no further if you're ever craving those without too much of a wait. Personally, I had a great experience when I came to Taste of Xian. Part of it was probably cause they had some anniversary specials and some popular dishes were for sale. We got a hot chili oil hand pulled noodles and a cold soy milk for $9! No brainer that's a steal in today's economy plus for Seattle. And then of course the SKEWERS. So tender, so flavorful, so BEEF. We got 5 skewers for $8 (half the price than those night markets) 4.5 for the BEEF S.S. (skewer specials)

We tried their: Dan-Dan Noodles, Hot and Sour Sauce Dumplings, Lamb Skewers, and Pork Dumplings! Everything was super delicious! My favorite would have to be the hot and sour sauce-- very savory and decadent. I would definitely eat the skewers with rice as it was quite salty. Everyone was super fast with service and helpful during our time there! The interior was super pretty to look at, which made our visit very fun!
